Site 23 – within the Cloisters Gallery

This is an opportunity for a site-specifc installation in the beautiful cathedral cloister. It will be within the white-wall gallery part of the show: the back of the space will be the ancient cloister wall; the sides will be white panels 2.4m high from which work can optionally be suspended - see the example below. Note that this gallery “intervention” could in principle be anywhere along the south cloister, giving options for the particular part of the cloister wall that forms the back of the space.

Absolute maximum dimensions of the space are 3m wide, 2m deep and 3m high. Mains power is available.

All General Restrictions for Installations apply.

Previous installation in this space: Bernadette Enright “Bearing Witness” (2024)

The cloisters have wide openings divided by mullions and transoms, and tracery in the Perpendicular Gothic style.
